DESCRIPTION:For more information or reservations, please go to the website and sign up at www.militaryheritagemuseum.org or call 941-575-9002. The Military Heritage Museum in Punta Gorda will host a benefit sunset cruise titled Anchors Aweigh on Saturday, October 12, beginning at 6 p.m. This will be a two-hour sunset cruise aboard the King Fisher Fleet boat, and is a fundraiser to benefit the museum. Cruise participants will board the boat at 5:30 p.m. for a 6 p.m. sail, and will depart from the King Fisher Fleet docks at Fishermen’s Village in Punta Gorda. The cost is $75 per person, and includes the sunset cruise on beautiful Charlotte Harbor, heavy hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, DJ music and a 50/50 raffle.
