Annual Seawall Assessment
January 12, 2026 through March 31, 2026 (weather and equipment operation permitting), the annual seawall assessment is scheduled, for north PGI locations. During winter low tide periods City staff will be inspecting the seawalls in the northwest and northeast zones of Punta Gorda Isles. The boundary of these zones are Aqui Esta Dr., Colony Point Dr., Charlotte Harbor and Magdalina Dr.

Seawall Replacement
Replacing seawalls is a large undertaking, and requires the cooperation of staff who produce seawall panels and monitor contractors, residents who ready their property for work, and contractors who install the panels and sod. An overview of the process can be viewed below.
